Your neighborhood smash burger spot
This is where ZOJAH started. Our original location opened on Huebner Road in November 2025 and quickly became a go-to for the Medical Center's hospital staff, UTSA students and the neighborhoods off Huebner, Babcock and Fredericksburg Road.
Every burger starts with Certified Angus Beef smashed on a hot flat-top for crispy, caramelized edges, then gets cheese, onions, pickles and our house-made ZOJAH Sauce. Fries are crinkle-cut and cooked in beef tallow. The drive-thru and late hours (open until 11 PM daily) make it an easy stop after a long shift.
ZOJAH is owned by founder Alvin Garlitos, an ER nurse turned CIA-San Antonio-trained cook who named the restaurant after his kids, Zoe, Elijah and Isaiah, and gives 10% of profits to community causes. Read his story →
