I tried the smash burger with fries at Zojah Burgers in San Antonio and here’s my honest take: The burger looked a little over-charred at first and felt small for the $20 price, but the flavor grew on me. The bun was incredibly soft and buttery, almost like a brioche, and the pickles were crisp with a great crunch. The grilled onions were sweet and not overpowering, and their house sauce (a mix of mayo, ketchup, and Worcestershire) really helped balance the extra char on the patty. The real standout was the fries fried in beef tallow crispy all the way around, soft inside, and super flavorful without being greasy. I left feeling satisfied but not bloated, which I appreciated. Even though the price is high, the food felt clean and fresh, so I’d definitely treat myself here once every month or two. Overall: Great quality ingredients, amazing fries, slightly pricey, but worth to treat your self.

We ordered a couple of burgers, fries, and a shake. Everything was delicious. I don't usually like crinkle cut fries but their fries were so damn good. My wife is a chef and were both always so busy, so we eat a lot of take out. But I hate doing it because she always finds something wrong with the food. My wife thought everything was perfect. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The burgers were perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was a great experience. Wife and I will absolutely go back. The only thing I'd complain about is the parking. The parking sucks, but what can you do. I won't let some unfortunate parking situation prevent me from getting some bad ass food.
